Rhoda Seidenberg, associate curator, leads a special tour of the Erfurt treasure at the Yeshiva University Museum. Scholars believe that a Jewish merchant or moneylender hid this rare cache of medieval coins and gold and silver jewelry just before the 1349 massacre of Erfurt Jews because of the Black Death and other persecutions, thus preserving the Gothic artifacts. Yeshiva University Museum is the only North American venue for this remarkable exhibition, running until January 29, 2009.

The Children's Aid Society�s Miracle, presented by The Bank of New York Mellon, is the annual charity shopping event that brings together leading retailers, restaurants and galleries on Madison Avenue in support of New York�s children in need.
Approximately 100 participating establishments on Madison Avenue will donate 20 percent of the day�s sales to The Children�s Aid Society�s health care programs. Ivanka Trump Collection Ms. Trump�s boutique @ 683A Madison Avenue, will lead the way.
